One full thread, judgment throughout
The senior proof is a whole project you can account for.
The dilemma
You have used AI across a whole project. At the end, can you account for every contribution it made — or only for the good images?
The choices
Present the project as outcomes and let the process blur. Or carry a thread through it. For every AI step: the routing decision (which family, why); the verification (what was checked, against what); the curation (what was rejected, why); the log (when, what changed); and the disclosure (what the reader is told). The senior proof is not a good image. It is a whole project you can account for.
The consequence
Without the thread, one unexplained step is enough to make the whole project suspect at the jury — "and this part?" With it, a reviewer can trace any AI contribution back to a decision of yours, and the project is defensible at every point, including the ones that went wrong.
The case
A final-year housing thesis: site dossier with sources, brief written and locked, massing on two tracks, thirty-one iterations logged with one variable each, three generated views labelled, consultants handed files with status, a one-page AI disclosure in the front matter. The external examiner picks a render at random and asks for its lineage. The student opens the log.
Take it to crit
Follow one project from brief to delivery. Is there a single AI step the student cannot explain with a decision of their own?
How it works
The thread is built from the ring you have just walked: routing, verification, iteration discipline, preservation, handover status, disclosure. This card is those disciplines run in sequence on one real project. The capstone beside it — judgment is the job — is the position. This is the proof.
